You apply for your driving license via Your Page on www.vegvesen.no. Here you can log in with BankID or MinID. On the left hand side you`ll find Your driving license. There you can apply for the driving license class B. The application goes via Statens Vegvesen to the police who check your conduct (if there is anything in your record which prohibits you from getting a driver`s license). This takes 2-8 weeks, and you can check the status of the application on the same web page. An approved application is valid for 6 months until you have to get it reapproved. This is done by calling 02030 to Statens Vegvesen.
